Jesse McCourt

I started Off The Hook with the goal in mind of providing the highest quality kiteboarding lessons. In order to achieve this it required me to develop a team of professional instructors with years of experience teaching on the highest quality gear available. As the sole owner I was also responsible for all facets of the business. I created weekly schedules, weekly book keeping, website design, generate sales, create lasting relationships with equipment suppliers, and manage customer relationships.

Working my way up from scratch I started as a field engineer with no prior experience and became a project superintendent within two years. During my time with Turner I had the pleasure to work on several high profile projects including The Wilshire Grand in Downtown LA, Ball Park Village in Downtown San Diego, and LA Stadium in Inglewood. With no prior construction experience I had to learn on my feet, but was quick to pick up industry and culture of the company. My responsibilities included weekly coordination with our internal team and field operations, creating schedules with updates to upper management, working closely with ownership and city officials for turnover.
