Projects

Echo Moments

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/echo-moments

To showcase the thousands of ways Alexa can help people win their day, the Echo Moments campaign features hundreds of short videos demonstrating Alexa’s versatility—from everyday conveniences like playing music and controlling smart devices to unexpected surprises like telling jokes and responding to Star Trek commands. Originally a social-only initiative, Echo Moments grew into Amazon’s largest integrated campaign media spend at launch.

Fire Kid's Edition Tablet

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/ket

If you’re a parent—or have a kid in your life—you know that stuff happens to stuff. And when it does, kids always have a creative explanation for how it happened. That simple insight inspired this campaign for the Fire Kids Edition Tablet. Each ad features a kid’s drawing of how they imagine a Fire tablet could break. All the drawings in this campaign were created by the children of our team members—I asked them to draw how a Fire tablet could break.

Minute Maid Enhanced

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/minute-maid-enhanced-juices

The ‘Oops!’ campaign relaunched Minute Maid’s Enhanced juices, repositioning them as natural energy drinks that help you stay sharp and avoid everyday fails.

Amazon Flex

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/amazon-flex

Amazon Flex drivers work when it works for them—making it an ideal job for cash-strapped college students and both experienced and gig-curious workers. This copy-driven recruitment campaign highlights the freedom of flexible work and the difference a few extra bucks can make.

Get a Doc

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/get-a-doc

Black and Hispanic-Latino men in the U.S. face higher mortality rates, often due to delayed or avoided doctor visits. Leveraging the immense popularity of video games, the campaign aims to inspire Millennial and Gen X men of color to connect with a primary care physician. The campaign transforms video game healers into scannable triggers that connect people to the Get a Doc site, where they can find a doctor and book an appointment. Top gaming influencers of color—such as AngryJoe, KSI, and TheGrefg—would lead the initiative, supported by esports tournaments and multi-channel media activations. Get a Doc would be powered by partnering with a leading healthcare search platform, such as Zocdoc, Sesame, or Vitals.

Volta

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/volta

Volta was a passive home tech startup with a mission to create affordable, net-zero homes and communities by rethinking how high-performance, sustainable homes are designed and built. To differentiate Volta from traditional builders, the vision was to position it as a lifestyle tech brand, not a construction company. I developed the brand—naming the company, creating its brand personality, designing the logo, and crafting an identity inspired by high-end lifestyle brands.

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/choa-7mly5

In this payor-provider negotiation campaign concept, striking visual metaphors underscore how insurer policies put children’s health at risk. In 2022, UnitedHealthcare (UHC) planned to impose a white bagging policy, undermining provider control over medication management and creating unnecessary barriers to children’s care. If Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHoA) couldn’t get UHC to reverse course, thousands of children in Georgia would lose in-network access to one of the nation’s premier pediatric hospitals.

Amazon Launch Videos

https://www.jdksell.com/projects/amazon-launch-product-videos

I was privileged to help launch several innovative products and services at Amazon. Each launch was a collaborative effort to craft a clear, human, and compelling narrative. Working closely with cross-functional teams—from product to UX to PR—was both inspiring and an invaluable learning experience.
