<p>After nearly a decade of successfully marketing consumer electronics, I went after a new challenge in 2008. I landed at Tactics Boardshop, a multi-channel retailer for snow, skate, footwear, and apparel. In my near decade there the business grew nearly 300%, with a positive profit profile each year. My tenure at Tactics is indicative of each step of my marketing career. Businesses under my leadership have seen steady, profitable increases in revenue and market share. Customer bases grow. Business ratings increase. Purchase frequency increases. Warehouses get outgrown. Staffing increases, with junior staff learning under my tutelage, occasionally moving on to make their own mark for another business (Nike SB, Adidas, to name a couple). My methods are sound and oriented toward cost-efficient growth for mid-sized businesses. I am fueled by a competitive drive to succeed and to be a positive influence on my staff and colleagues. I love to win and will outwork my competition to do so.</p>

Led all aspects of e-commerce & direct-to-consumer marketing. Set and executed strategies aimed at aggressive growth while managing a team of collaborative specialists and third-party agency partners.

- Led 1500% growth in D2C branded gross online sales plus 720% lift in sales as an Amazon FBA seller.
- Strategies and initiatives delivered substantial increases in product demand, conversion, AOV, items per order, annual purchase rate, and customer lifetime value.
- Directed effective growth optimizations via third-party agencies for SEM, SEO, digital advertising, and Amazon platform management, including a 1.7x lift in product view conversion at Amazon.

Ecommerce Director

Responsible for strategic planning and oversight of marketing programs to support e-commerce business and a chain of nationwide boutique retail locations. Leadership role responsible for brand development, traffic, sales goals, P&L, customer experience, customer acquisition and retention, strategic execution, reporting, and staff development. 

Results: 28% lift in e-commerce revenue with an increase of 37% for net profits and a 63% increase in total online orders. Executed site usability initiatives that lifted conversion 79% and greatly impacted purchase frequency and lifetime value metrics. All while cutting overall marketing spend.
