• Provide knowledge on outdoor clothing, bags, boards, boots, bindings, outerwear, goggles, helmets and accessories. • Assist with store merchandising and communicate with Burton Colorado soft goods reps on merchandising the store. • Open/close the store making sure the store is presentable and open/closing duties have been done. • Operate MMS to receive incoming product and transfer outgoing product. • If we don’t have an item in our store check another Vail retail store by using Item Lookup and call to either hold the item, transfer the item to our store, or send sale the item. • Provide information on our demo program to guests to help drive sales. • Operate the POS system to end the sale with a guest and determine if all needs were met. • Put away and back stock incoming product for spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. • Train sales associates on product, rentals, our POS system, and answer any questions they might have. • Work in a team with Burton shop employees and in-house Burton employees to facilitate the US Open which includes in-store signings, providing event information, and re-merchandising the store.
