In My Own Words
Hello! My name is Jared Henry and I recently graduated from the U of A with a degree in Journalism. The bulk of my studies were in multimedia (film, photo, writing, design). I have done a variety of jobs that spread across a wide variety of skillsets. These jobs include - Social Media Manager, Video Production, Photography, Web Design, hands on Construction jobs (building and installing skateparks, houses, pumptracks), and managing retail. I currently live in Carlsbad, CA and am 26 years old. My hobbies include surfing, skating, mountain biking, snowboarding, climbing, hiking, traveling, music, performing music, and all things adventure. I am a sponsored skateboarder and a music producer/writer/performer. Overall, I enjoy working in a field that I am passionate about. I love the outdoors and action sports so working in one of those fields would ultimately be my dream.

I have been doing freelance multimedia production (video, photography, web design) for small businesses for the past year. I do content creation for them by getting them video, photo, and helping them design a website to promote their business.
Social Media Manager and Retail Manager
Path Skate Shop2015 – 2018
I worked with the Path Skate Shop (a local skate shop in Fayetteville, AR) as a retail manager and Social Media Manager for 3 years. The retail side involved placing orders, stocking shelves, sales and inventory. The Social Media Manager side involved creating a cohesive instagram that fit the shops image for their brand and keeping it up to date. Scheduling and taking part in photo/video shoots was the bulk of the job.
Skatepark/Pumptrack Installation
American Ramp Company and Velo Solutions2015 – 2017
For American Ramp Company I traveled and installed skateparks. We were on the road for a month at a time installing skateparks all over the east coast. For Velo Solutions I helped build the Redbull Pumptrack in Springdale, Arkansas. The goal was to get it ready for the international pump track finals. Professionals from all across the world came to ride it the week after we finished.
