Hi I’m Heather :) I am a Southern California based Graphic Designer with a love for design and a passion for packaging. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Following my education, I continue to expand my knowledge through courses, tutorials and google searches. My work has been published in several magazines and on billboards throughout the country. Currently I am a Senior Designer at TrendyMinds. My inspiration comes from my environment and influences around it. In my free time I love being outdoors and cuddling with my Berner and Pyr.

Jr. Production Artist
Brandman Univeristy2017 – 2021
Create various internal marketing and communication materials/collateral such as print ads, direct mail and digital elements. • Using brand guidelines, develop digital banners and social tiles for the university. • Develop editable templates for Outreach and manage the process associated with the usage of these pieces. • Work with external ad agency to ensure proper brand standards across all marketing and communication platforms. • Support print and production vendors for their needs on various format renditions, adjustments, and proofing.
Packaging Designer
inQbrands2016 – 2017
Developed and executed a standard for packaging for a variety of brands. • Created packaging for 20+ brands launching within a year. Prepared final artwork for sampling and production. • Used brand guides to create packaging guidelines to aid in consistency across packaging types. • Ensured all packaging contains all legal requirements.
Lead Graphic Designer
Fashion Forms2015 – 2016
Managed and led all design elements for marketing in order to call attention to products, increase sales, and aid in brand awareness. • Developed packaging for 35+ products in numerous packaging lines tailored for each individual client. • Publications in OK!, Star, InStyle and Body magazines. Large scale marketing pieces, such as billboards and subway campaigns, in major U.S. cities to drive an increase in sales and brand awareness. • Assisted in the launch of the new Lingerie Solutions website. Led the re-branding and redesign to increase user interface and experience.

Fashion Forms2014 – 2015
Developed packaging for hundreds of products in over 35 packaging lines (tailored for each individual client such as department stores, mass-market store, private labels, online retailers, and boutiques). • Assisted in the launch of our new Lingerie Solutions website. Leading the rebranding and redesign in which I provide the layout, images, and graphics to increase user interface and experience. • Acted as a photo assistant to our photographer during photoshoots.

Associated Students of CSU Channel Islands2014 – 2014
Graphic marketing support for student organizations at California State University Channel Islands. • Provided graphics for Student Government, Student Programming Board, Student Newspaper (CI View) and Yearbook (The Nautical) to aid in sales or event awareness. • Worked on promotional graphics, marketing campaigns, marketing materials, and composed press releases to notify and inform the students, staff and faculty of events and information.

Developed graphics to aid in compelling visual pitches for network meetings. • Created logos for opening sequences for potential programs to help convey the storyline and mood to the viewer. • Assisted other interns in scouting for potential programs. • Edited video pitch reels for network meetings to sell the network to pick up a program.
