In My Own Words
I am a recent graduate from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a minor in Applied Physiology & Sport Management. I am interested in social media, public relations, marketing, writing and blogging. I grew up in South Florida, where I developed an interest in yoga, surfing, paddle boarding and all things outdoors. After graduating, I moved to Aspen, Colorado and worked in the ski industry for a year. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to be a part of the outdoor winter and summer culture. I am currently certified to teach power yoga and indoor cycling. I hope to teach one or both fitness classes while taking part in a career in the outdoor industry. I currently live in Encinitas, California and hope to be a part of the outdoor lifestyle and make it be an element of my career.

Helped develop and maintain new clientele for retail and yoga/fitness classes at brand new studio space. Taught Thug Yoga® classes. Managed retail and classes through MindBody.
Indoor Cycling Instructor

Instructed indoor cycling classes full time (7-8 classes/week). Programmed new playlists and sequences for each class. Created a weekly discounted ride to introduce new and local riders.

The Akola Project is a non-profit organization that benefits the women and families of Uganda, who make jewelry and accessories that are sold nationally, with 100% proceeds going back to them for living, food, education and all other expenses. Worked with company's social media sites to promote the non-profit organization and highlight the women of Uganda and their stories. Helped organize social events and trunk shows on campus and in the Dallas area.
