Sales and Marketing Representative

Responsible for athlete management and marketing. Scouted and hired professional snowboarder (Pat Milbery). Pat help to support sales in Japan through shop appearances and on snow demos. Organized special events and promotions at Arbor flag ship store in California.

Reviewed existing product line, then designed and tested a completely new product line, including helmets, protective padding, gloves, footwear, and accessories. Implemented all marketing plans. Hired and managed North American sales force Managed world class ski and snowboard team- (Jeremy Jones, Lane Knaack, Lindsey Jacobellis, and Brad Holmes). SIXSIXONE is the largest bike and motocross company in the world, and the leading manufacturer of protection equipment in the motocross and bike industry.

Marketing: Helped create the Brand's message to the "core" market. Successfully launched print & online media campaigns with Maxim, Transworld, Playboy, Future, Snowboarder, and Heckler magazines. Working with web designer, conceived and refined website design and content, including the "G-MAN" page. Produced radio station promotions through Entercom for alternative rock and contemporary station. Responsible for lining up sponsorship of the Chevy Truck Grand Prix snowboarding tour-1999-2005.Created and executed grassroots marketing initiatives for the 2002 & 2006 Winter Olympics and ESPN X-Games. Established world-class team of skateboarders, snowboarders and surfers- Ryan Franz, Lane Knaack, and Nate Holland.

Design: Provided input and tested clothing's design, function, fit, and durability. Consulted with designers to develop HV3 HydroVent 3-Layer Technology. Product line included: signature jackets, snowboard pants, apparel and accessories. Worked with design team to develop, market, and test fall and spring apparel lines.

Sales: Constructed promotions to support sales and in-house initiatives. Created retail promotion "Win a Snowboard Session Sweepstakes" run at all REI retail stores, starting with10 locations and growing to 110.Managed in-store promotions at Garts Sporting Goods, GI Joes, Sports Authority, Garts Sports, JC Penneys, and Galyans chain stores, increasing sales by 10%.
