As an HR Representative, I analyze work roles and assess the suitability of candidates for jobs. My interviewing skills learned by sociology and anthropology are essential for this evaluation. As an HR staff member, I use problem-solving skills to mediate disagreements between the managment and workers and resolve personnel issues. I convey sociological and anthropological concepts as well as apply theories to real-world situations to motivate workers to work together for common organizational goal and increase the efficiency and productivity of the company. I also use analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate alternative structures for employee benefits.
