Managed a team of mechanical and controls engineering professionals to successfully complete all phases of the Ride/Show portion of the project ranging from initial conceptual design to product development, construction, fabrication, and commissioning of a total of eight prototypical Ride/Show elements valued at $35M. Assisted with commissioning of attraction with state officials (DOSH) and ensured compliance with company and industry standards (ASTM 2291). • Selected to be the technical liaison for a conceptual phase development project to bring virtual reality to themed entertainment. • Collaborated with industry leaders to develop AGV (autonomously guided vehicle) technologies for theme park use. • Established a range of PM metrics to quantify vendor progress, ensuring the design and development phases satisfied all industry and internal standards.

Recruited to lead a cross-functional team of controls engineering professionals engaged in the design, testing, and construction of a complex control system for a large new "E Ticket" ride for Shanghai Disneyland theme park. Conducted an extensive amount of hands-on control system engineering during early project phases while managing more than $3M in control project budgets and setting work schedules and resource allocation strategies. Currently serving as a primary liaison and specialty construction manager for all vendors/contractors engaged in the ongoing construction of the ride's control systems—with direct accountability for ensuring compliance with all international safety and trade regulations. • Performed extensive hands-on engineering work despite robust management responsibilities, including development of schematics, wiring and distribution diagrams, layouts, FMEA, and power/consumption calculations.
