As an operations specialist for the 2014 Movember campaign, I had the opportunity to interact with our diverse community in a variety of ways, and assist many of our other departments throughout the campaign. This year, in the U.S.A. we had 166k participants that generated $18.3 million in donations for research and programs for men's health. On the operations team I resolved 1000+ phone and email inquiries about donations issues, website navigation, foundation information, 501(c)(3) information, involvement/participation, media inquiries, and digital troubleshootingI turned hundreds of "no's into Mo's", and generated nearly $20,000 in donations. I also worked closely with the Business and Community Engagement (BCE) team, where I conducted pitches and presentations to local companies and community groups. I also managed information and registration booths at health fairs, and organization events. Lastly I participated in marketing stunts such as being the information liaison for our mobile barbershop.
