<p>Associate Designer of Nike Golf, Nike SB and Nike Lifestyle Belts at Spirit Leatherworks in Eugene, OR. I oversee the design and development of Nike belts from ideation to production, and work with product leadership and category team members to ensure feasibility of designs, price points, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines are being met. Ownership of tech packs/spec sheets as well as CAD creation. I also provide support in a graphic design capacity by developing presentations, seasonal decks, catalogs and packaging design to aid in the overall success and growth of the company.</p><p></p><p>I am experienced in pre-press production, including overseeing print layout and pre-flight preparation of printed files. I have been the lead designer and illustrator at previous companies where I developed brand style guides, logos, mascots and marketing illustrations.</p><p></p><p>I am absolutely passionate about my career, and I possess the required problem-solving skills to foster design solutions, work within a team, and complete projects on time.</p>

- Works closely with the Director of Product Development for Nike Golf, Nike SB and Nike Lifestyle categories in the design & development of Nike Belts. - Essential member of the small development team responsible for the company’s successful expansion beyond the Nike Golf category to also include Nike SB (skateboarding) and Nike Lifestyle licensing. - Thorough understanding of the Nike brand including standards, guidelines, and voice. - Supports the Director of PD to manage development process from concept through production hand-off in accordance with end-user needs and corporate standards for quality, consistency, and functionality, while meeting price minimums, sourcing strategies, and exceeding customer expectations. - Creates and Communicates technical spec packages/CADs that provide clear development direction to manufacturing partners overseas, including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, fit requirements, and construction detail. - Produce presentation materials that effectively communicate concepts behind the product line/styles to key stakeholders of internal and external audiences. - Monitors the development of prototype samples against a seasonal calendar, and works closely with the product development/tech design team to stay on track with key milestones. - Ensures product details such as construction, fit, color, form, style, graphic application, logo treatment, and trim are according to Nike brand specifications & requirements.
