I am the wearer of many hats. I began my journey in Crested Butte, CO as a director and cinematographer shooting action sports. I helped create the iconic action sports films, "Slednecks". From there I moved to Malibu, CA where I went to work as a shooter and editor on "Crusty Demons of Dirt". Eventually I jumped into directing music videos for such people as RZA and Body Count. I worked with Larry Clark, the director of KIDS, a documentary I shot for him was screened at Sundance, Cannes and the TATE Modern in London. I created the reality show "Crustys Dirt Demons" on FUSE Networks. From there I jumped into photography shooting music for Rolling Stone, SPIN, Billboard, The New York Times, Coachella, Holy Ship, more festivals that I can count. At some point I made a trip to Baghdad to work as a journalist. I have photographed Presidents, every major musician, actor and many notable people. As of late I do marketing and PR photography for CBS, HGTV, Discovery, Warner Bros and Netflix. I am sure I missed quite a bit as the journey has been unique to say the least. Feel free to ask about anything.
Red Bull
Photo Editor | 06/2013 - 08/2016
I worked as the photo editor at Red Bull North America. As part of this job I contracted various photographers for a number of events and portrait shoots, oversaw the quality on the shoots and when needed worked as a photographer myself. Some of my accomplishments were sourcing 15 new photographers across the US, developed a relationship with Rolling Stone and SPIN and created a signature look that was used on a national level for all music photography.
