In My Own Words
I am currently a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am a business major with an emphasis in Marketing. In 2008 I left my friends and family to serve a 2 year mission for my Church. After seven months of service, I tore my ACL, and a bunch of other ligaments in my left knee. While recovering at home, I set my mind on the goal of returning to my mission field in Russia, and fishing what I had started. After seven months of recovery, I received the green light to go back. I completed my mission in the summer of 2010. I am a hard worker. I love to solve puzzles, and complete tasks. Since serving a mission, I have done door to door sales, and have been successful at it time and time again. I have one year left of school, and I look forward to entering the business world.
Work Experience
Assistant Manager/Sales Representative
Wolf Pest Control2011 – Present
In my first year as a sales representative I out performed my more seasoned colleagues and I finished in the top 5 out of 30 sales reps. I did this through hard work, and perseverance. After 3 years of selling, I was given the opportunity to help lead a team. In my fourth year, I helped to motivate my team by consulting with the manager, and planning regular incentives. We held training meetings every morning during the week, to help the team overcome any objections that they may have been encountering. By the end of the Summer, we achieved our office goal, and I finished as the number one sales rep in our office.
CEO/Founder
Royal Watches & Apparel2015 – Present
Started up my own brand as a senior project. Provided lots of hands on experience with marketing, and finance. In the space of 9 weeks, my brand did $12,000 in sales, and was experiencing a growth rate of 15% per week in revenue. Loving life, and would love to learn from professionals on how to manage a brand.
Grounds Crew
BYU-Idaho2013 – 2013
Had the privilege of working for the University to beautify the grounds. During the winter months, my responsibility was to wake up early in the morning, and remove the freshly fallen snow from pathways and steps. In the spring time, we resumed regular landscaping duties.
Courtesy Clerk
Bel Air Market2007 – 2007
I learned how to interact with people effectively. I enjoyed keeping them entertained while I bagged their groceries and assisted them to their vehicles.
Maintenance
El Dorado Sports Club2007 – 2007
My duties as maintenance staff member were to keep the facilities clean and organized for the members.
Sweets Baker
Great Harvest Bread Co2006 – 2006
As a sweets baker, it was my job to prepare all the non-bread items for the day. Under a tight schedule I would produce fine quality baked goods, and have them on the shelves for purchase by 7:00 am.
