In My Own Words

I am passionate about designing products for people to feel empowered in the outdoors. Creating sustainable, durable, and intentional products is important to me and I strive to achieve these goals as a designer. I am currently a Designer and Product Developer for Ruggette, designing environmentally responsible and inclusive apparel and gear that supports empowered women in the outdoors. I've designed athletic apparel, backpacks, camp gear, furniture, medical devices, and home products. I am excited to pursue my design career in the outdoor industry.

– Designing outdoor sustainable women's gear and apparel from ideation to production through brainstorming, mood boards, market research, sketching, prototyping, and tech packs. – Collaborating with ambassadors for research and product development. – Communicating with factories for sourcing, revisions and future production while adhering to allocated budget for product development.

2019 – 2020

– Designed innovative and patent pending backpacks, bags, and camp gear for a range of outdoor companies including Eddie Bauer, Vertx, and Step22. – Effectively communicated concepts through detailed sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes constructed from original patterns. – Worked alongside the lead designer to create tech packs, revision documents, and colorways to send to factories and clients for production.
