Surfing and music

I grew up in Laguna Beach, CA surfing and playing music. At 25, I recently achieved my degree in Public Relations from California State University Fullerton and plan to work back in the Surf industry. For most of my youth I was competing as a traveling surfer before going on to help manage the team of my sponsor; Hurley. Currently I am located in Laguna Beach CA after moving home from the North Shore of Oahu working for FreeSurf Magazine as their Content Coodinator. I am aware of all the new media tools used to promote a business in an effective way; however, I feel that my skill set applies to all areas within the surf industry.

In charge of capturing and managing content to fullfill the needs of each issue. I also do advertisement sales to fuel the magazine and provide clientele with marketing strategies. 

Content Coordinator

Instructing surf, safety, and ocean awareness. Being CPR certified, I teach students young and old how to surf along with the importance of etiquette. 

Surf Instructor (Summer Only)

Worked with surf athletes to organize annual schedules. Attended budget meetings within the company to understand how to better consolidate company costs. 

Global Marketing Management (Intern)

Traveled and attended competitive events, communicated goals and plans for athletes, between parents and corporate office. Talent scout and brand ambassador. Delegates shipments to team members and major events such as: Hurley Pro and US Open.
