Dustin (Dusty) Binkerd

As a buyer/planner at Fusion-EMS, I work on trying to get the best deals for our customers and our company. I work on forecasting parts and negotiating deals with suppliers to make the part-buying process as simple as possible. Often times we have analyze past purchase trends, while looking into the future that is on the customer's current forecast, to purchase the proper amount of parts. I work on evaluating all of our current suppliers on their quality, cost, delivery times, and customer service, all while keeping track of what documents we need from each supplier, and when documents are about to expire. Occasionally, I'll go visit a supplier to see their whole operation from front to back to determine if they have a good enough system to us to approve them as a supplier.

As a buyer for Aviatrix, you understand customer requirements for aerospace parts and help with all phases of the procurement process, from identifying the best vendor, negotiating the lowest price, preparing quotes and purchase orders, to following up and making sure the vendor fulfills their promise to us. All while building and maintaining excellent working relationships with customers and vendors.

The Starbucks policy is to make every customer feel welcome and relaxed. Starbucks likes to have that “home away from home” feel, and it’s our job as barista’s to make them feel that way. It’s also in my job duties to make sure that every drink is made to the customers need, because every customer wants and needs their drink to accommodates them, so that is our job as barista so make sure that happens.
