Drew

I graduated from San Diego State University, studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

Additionally, I served as the Vice-President and a 4 year player on the SDSU Men's Lacrosse Team. As I approach a career, I am looking to gain more hands on experience in a position with a company that supports a healthy lifestyle. My ultimate goal, is to use all my experiences in an effort to assist and expand my mother's company, Mari's Power Muffins.

As a member of the sales team, I assist the local area distributor in opening new convenience store accounts, as well as taking orders for existing accounts. While, out in the field I work to insure that brand is displayed correctly with proper price points and point of sale marketing materials displayed. As a member of the marketing team I support that brand at events in Costco and other select grocery stores.

At HD Supply, I worked as a summer intern under the Manager of IT-integration. During my summer, I lead strategic meetings with each manager of the IT department. I was exposed to SAP on a daily basis. In this hands on corporate experience, I was able to see how different departments impact each other. To culminate my summer, I presented my findings and my intern project to the CEO and other VP's throughout HD Supply Facilities Maintenance.

Lacrosse Coach · La Jolla Country Day School
Coach a group of eight to ten year old boys, three times a week. I meet all the children after their classes and run through a number of drills to condition them for their games. After each practice I ensure that all equipment is returned and properly stored and ensure each player is picked up by their respective parents as a safety measure. Along with my coaching duties, I stay in contact with each of the school administrators responsible for my players as well as the program director on a weekly basis.

As a beach attendant I was trained in signature service and took care of any specific needs the club members requested or tried to anticipated their needs. I worked nights during the summer and miscellaneous shifts during the school year. I was also in charge of closing the pool every evening. Each night, as part of a team, we would ensure that the beach and surrounding areas looked immaculate before the next morning.

As a Barista, I would greet customers with a smile and make drinks for waiting customers and ensure their needs had been met. Additionally, I was in charge of running the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions. In slowed periods, I surveyed the store and outside patio making sure all trash and dishes were picked up and put in its respective place and ensured the general environment looked presentable to our customers.
