David's experience is also found in 13+ years as a corporate communicator partnering with Fortune 500 corporations & America’s top 100 law firms leading to over $4 billion in wins. David has also aided some of the top 7% of non-profits in the United States in their communication strategies.

Outside of the boardroom, David has traveled to 52 countries, surfed a two-story wave, free-soloed a 700-foot mountain with no rope, and descended some of the most famous peaks in the western hemisphere on a snowboard. When not teaching indoors, you'll find him in the outdoors honing his skills in wilderness first-aid, avalanche safety and self-defense.


CliffHanger Academy is a revolutionary, scientifically proven (98% effective) Psychology Fitness (Psy-Fi) program that combines Psychology with Fitness to help men and women rewire their brains by training their bodies. Using the mental aspects of Neuroscience, the behavior change abilities of Psychology combined with the physical aspect of Action Sports Fitness in three specific categories: Health, Wealth and Relationships.







We do this by talking through current challenges in their Health, Wealth and/or Relationships and analyzing them with the latest research in Cognitive Behavioral and Positive Psychology. During this process, we develop a theme for our training Experience that draws a parallel between the sport and our student's lives. We then take them through a customized sport-specific workout (Muay Thai, Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, or Surfing) that pushes and enhances them mentally and physically while learning a new skill in this sport. Next, we calm their brains and bodies down using breathwork and guided meditation to help them gain more focus and clarity on their current challenges while taking advantage of their enhanced physical and mental state. Lastly, we design an action plan together with definable steps they can take this week towards overcoming that challenge.

This combination of coaching aligns the Brain, Body, and Breath (our B3 Methodology™) in a way that allows our clients to feel focused, yet relaxed, calm, yet energized and identify what's really important in their lives and how to take simple steps towards making a change.
