• Maintain daily development communication with factories and the internal product team.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials for each style in the line.
• Assemble all necessary files (tech packs, specs BOM, art, etc.) and distribute the complete development packs to the assigned vendors for development.
• Prepare accurate cost sheets and submit to purchasing for all products.
• Work with the corporate conformance team and vendors to navigate products requiring CE certification.
• Track all development of assigned categories and make sure that all parties are staying on schedule.
• Maintain the Filemaker Pro development tracking database and all product daily tracking entries.
• Evaluate selection of manufacturers. Consider pricing, quality, product quotes, sample turn around, payment terms, shipping, environmental standards, consistency/reputation and make sure that the vendors can consistently maintain a business relationship per corporate standards.
• Work with design team to review prototypes, sales samples, pre-production and TOPs for fabric, color, design, fits, etc for the entire Thor product line.
• Communicate with the production team regarding any potential issues that might affect timelines and quality. Work with trim suppliers to develop trims for all product categories.
• Participate in fittings and communicate all comments/changes issued to the vendor.
• Assist with compiling samples for trade shows, photo shoots, sales meetings, and company events..
