Darin Butterfield

As a Design Director at GKDI I manage a creative team in which we design and develop all of the color and graphics for Yamaha Motorsports vehicles in the US. We also produce Yamaha's event assets and promotional items, develop UX/UI, create trend forecast reports and advanced development proposals. I work directly with the product planners, marketing, and sales teams to develop concepts, hypotheses, planning, and design direction for each project. My team and I create the designs from the initial sketches to the the full scale prototypes, and work directly with the vendors until production. I am also involved in the creation of UX/UI for automobiles with clients such as Subaru. I have consulted with numerous clients to improve branding, packaging design, and UX/UI.
