Hello, I'm Darin, a Southern California-based Graphic Designer with 10 years of experience. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University Fullerton. I consider myself to be an outstanding creative thinker and visual communicator. I am very passionate about graphic design and always want to exceed my clients expectations by providing unique designs that encapsulate their brand ethos. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign. I also have good knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, XD, and Premiere. I have created numerous designs in print and digital mediums, developed logos and brand identities, and generated UX/UI.

Worked directly with clients to produce a variety of logos/brand identities, posters, magazine spreads, wedding invitations, flyers, DVD & book covers, apparel, vehicle wraps, and sports hardgoods.

Design Director

GK Design International, Inc.

2012 – Present

As a Design Director at GKDI I manage a creative team in which we design and develop all of the color and graphics for Yamaha Motorsports vehicles in the US. We also produce Yamaha's event assets and promotional items, develop UX/UI, create trend forecast reports and advanced development proposals. I work directly with the product planners, marketing, and sales teams to develop concepts, hypotheses, planning, and design direction for each project. My team and I create the designs from the initial sketches to the the full scale prototypes, and work directly with the vendors until production. I am also involved in the creation of UX/UI for automobiles with clients such as Subaru. I have consulted with numerous clients to improve branding, packaging design, and UX/UI.
