Senior Digital Designer/Interactive Art Director

I currently work in-house as a Sr. Digital Designer/Interactive Art Director for Cabela's Brand Marketing department on the Digital Creative team. I work with a team of other digital designers to maintain various pages and elements on the company website, create landing pages, emails, mobile and social marketing graphics using software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Exact Target (Salesforce), HTML, CSS, Adobe AEM, Sketch and various content management systems (CMS). I am the Lead SME (Subject Matter Expert) designer for the email channel. I am also responsible for photoshoot art direction for digital needs. I have experience in studio and remote photoshoots. I am also a huge advocate for team development. I have a responsibility to my team to be a mentor & help provide opportunities for growth. We all need to stretch & reach outside our comfort zones to do amazing things!

I am also a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and fine artist. I design and create illustrations for various needs such as logos, brand identities, business cards, stationery, digital design and advertisements. I am passionate about the design field and love connecting with people who share this common interest.

Responsible for concept development and design to create compelling and engaging digital experiences. Email-channel lead designer. Assists to create graphics for various campaigns, omni events, category-specific projects, remarketing efforts, social-media and other visual design needs. Experience providing UI/creative prototyping for mobile applications. Opportunities to develop and cultivate cross-functional relationships with other internal and external teams to meet collaborative goals. Provides art direction on photo and video shoots for digital needs. Responsible for mentoring junior-level designers and providing opportunities for growth and development.

Digital Designer II

Assisted to create graphics for category-specific projects, remarketing efforts, social-media and other visual design needs. Responsible for production design and maintenance of various pages for the online environment. Opportunities to develop and cultivate cross-functional relationships with other internal and external teams to meet collaborative goals.

Digital Designer I (Production Designer)

Created online store product pages using proper page layouts including presentation, accuracy of product on display, logo placement, spelling, format and image quality. Performed image manipulation using image software such as Photoshop, Scene 7/IPS, Quark, and Media Bank. Also responsible for coding and tracking of products built for the online store.
