Barrie Skateboard Association was formed to spearhead planning and construction of the City of Barrie’s first and only skateboard facility.
Volunteered as a lead member of the Barrie Skateboard Association and provided leadership to a group of young residents in bringing a skateboarding facility to the city.
•Helped develop the concept, attract community interest, support and pursue political negotiations.
•Played a significant role in the design of the facility.
•Assisted in the solution of problems related to site suitability for approved designs.
•Worked directly with the architect on production of facility plans.
•Consulted with the contractor to help resolve problems that arose during construction.
