Marketer, cyclist, father, and husband. A native Michigander in San Diego, seeking the next step in my career. 2015 – 2017

Led development of marketing content for company's largest and most profitable brand, RZR off-road vehicles. Worked with internal partners and external agencies on creation and execution of email and social media content for 1.5M consumer audience. Partnered with media agency on development of annual $20M+ media plan. Exceeded initial 2017 engagement goals by 3-5x.

Managed Polaris RZR external partnerships. Responsibility for $5M+ program budget with objective to grow awareness of RZR brand. Managed relationships, proposals, and contract negotiation with 100+ external partners, including national racing organizations, OEM partners, and fleet businesses.

Bosch

2014 – 2015

Responsible for management of all Bosch Thermotechnology retail accounts, with annual sales of $10M+. Primary accounts included Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, and Grainger. Negotiated increased in-store placement, order volume, and availability of in-store marketing materials.

Addressed operational issues with customers and identified solutions in cooperation with finance, logistics, and product management teams.

Marketing Management Development Program

Bosch

2012 – 2014

2 year management development program in marketing and sales verticals across the company.

Led development of consumer-facing marketing materials and content in cooperation with automotive OEMs, including Jeep and Volkswagen. Researched consumer insights for new vehicle technologies and develop content translating complex technical features into consumer benefits. Marketing materials included event displays, print advertising, and digital banners deployed via channels with 2M+ consumer audiences.

Managed the re-design of product packaging and in-store marketing materials for all thermotechnology retail products sold nationwide in Home Depot and Lowes. Conducted focus groups to understand buyer criteria and developed packaging and point of purchase marketing content tailored to consumers. Saw inventory turnover increase by 10% in 6 month period.

Marketing Communications Graduate Intern

General Motors

2011 – 2011

Developed target consumer profiles, brand positioning, and advertising content based on consumer insight research and competitive benchmarking conducted with external research partners ahead of new Buick SUV model release.

Worked with key lifestyle partners to plan a launch calendar with events, strategic TV and digital advertising, and sales initiatives, to support 2011 model launch.

Exceeded new model order forecast by 2x at launch, and continued to meet or exceed sales targets through 2016.

Worked in conjunction with senior project management team, in-field contractors, and multiple architecture firms during the proposal, planning, and execution of residential architecture projects. Independently supervised the budget and schedule adherence of subcontractors, and planned material purchasing with suppliers on simultaneous projects with budgets in excess of $5M.
