As the Principal Designer and Founder of High Camp Design, I lead clients through the entire design process, from ideation to execution, using design thinking to achieve impactful results. I have collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including 6yrs with the QuickBooks Brand & Marketing team and 5yrs with the HP.com UX team. My role involves developing strategies, creating user-centered designs, and ensuring that each project aligns with and often exceeds the client’s business goals.

We are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of youth, especially those who come from households where snowboarding and other sideways sports may not be an option due to financial challenges or the uncertainty of a consistent family structure. The REVERT Foundation is built on the fundamental belief that encouraging and inspiring youth through authentic mountain and outdoor mentoring experiences will contribute positively in lives of the youth we serve.

Visual Design | 07/2023 - 08/2024
At Tangible, I was responsible for developing and managing a component library for Intel's public-facing software web pages, which significantly improved the design team's efficiency. I led the web design for Intel’s new software brand, Tiber, from concept to launch, ensuring clear communication and coordination across teams. Additionally, I managed brand guidelines for multiple collateral pieces, maintaining creative consistency, and delivered successful social media campaigns for clients like Intuit QuickBooks and Intel.

As Lead Product Designer at Mindbody + ClassPass, I spearheaded the design of a new mobile product, leading it from initial concept to full visual design in a new market space. I created full concept experiences for the future vision of the core business product and led the design of new features across various business and consumer products. Additionally, I mentored the team’s first design intern and co-led the creation and management of a design system that streamlined the design process.

Staff Experience Designer | 08/2010 - 09/2012
In my role as Staff Experience Designer at Intuit, I led the design of the flagship product site, TurboTax.com, which continues to generate hundreds of millions of dollars annually. I developed and integrated design strategies that significantly increased business revenue and drove the creation of the first-ever mobile-specific experience for TurboTax.com. My responsibilities also included recruiting and managing a high-performing design team and collaborating cross-functionally to develop data-driven business strategies.

Sr. UX Designer | 01/2006 - 08/2010
As a Senior UX Designer at Intuit, I designed a new customer experience for the TurboTax Advantage program, resulting in a 41% reduction in customer calls. I collaborated with research, usability, and analytics teams to create multi-million dollar winning strategies through creative A/B testing. Additionally, I developed user studies that contributed to a Top 10 Best Web Support Site Award in 2008 and designed a new web application utilized daily by thousands of customer support agents.

As Design Manager at SAIC, I was directly responsible for the overall intranet interface design supporting over 40,000 employees, leading to the intranet being recognized as a Top 10 Intranet by Nielsen Norman Group. I managed a small team of designers and established site-wide standards for consistency in user experience, including navigation, look and feel, and user interface design. My work included creating standard layout templates and developing unique brand logos and color sets for internal groups.

In my role as a UX Designer at SAIC, I oversaw public website design and production, implementing interface styles, layouts, and site architecture.
