Accounts Receivable Manager

Oversee team of A/R Specialists. Work directly with A/R Team to strengthen team skills through available training and developmental programs. Ensure team is cross-trained in all relevant aspects of the A/R scope.

Review daily cash receipts, invoices, credit/debit memo entries, deductions and supporting documentation input into SalesPad and Great Plains to ensure the accuracy and the integrity of all GL entries.

Financial/credit review and analysis of high exposure accounts in order to reduce risk, with constant attention to credit. Communicate opinions and findings to management and executives.

Review existing account requests for extension of payment terms and credit limits within specified approval limits.

Effectively manage chargebacks and develop procedures to dispute and recover funds for invalid claims.

Primarily responsible for researching and reconciling open chargebacks, disputes and short payments.

Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Dealer Services, Returns and Operations to highlight and resolve open chargebacks. Implement solutions to minimize chargebacks and integrate process improvements.

Assist in the development of compiling and preparing reports to analyze trends.

Other duties include reporting, account analysis, assist during audits, ensure compliance and report findings to management, return reconciliation, building dispute cases to recover funds, month end close activities.

Extensive customer service duties consisting of resolving customer questions and complaints via phone, email or social media, tracking packages, generating RA’s and warranty claims, setting up UPS claims, creating sales orders and processing key account purchase orders.

Created email templates to maximize efficiency and improve response time to customers.

Provided site analysis and optimization efforts to ensure website was up to date. 

Worked closely with Accounting, Operations and Shipping to assist with order issues and sales cycle.
