Managed product creation process for professional sports such as baseball, softball, volleyball, running, training, boxing and Olympic footwear from design through commercialization. Created and managed specification sheets for new product and ensured accuracy between specification sheets, design drawings, and prototype samples. Provided accurate cost estimates for all new developments and worked with product management and design to deliver cost effective samples at each development stage. Reviewed cost sheets and samples upon arrival with product management and costing team to identify cost issues and suggested cost alternatives in regards to materials and construction. Achieved consistent on time buy readiness results for all projects. Worked with the factories, the necessary product managers, engineers, and designers when problems jeopardized on time delivery. Ensured all products were designed and developed to maximize whole shoe comfort, fit and function. Managed new material development. Lead all product problem solving and product/material testing. Traveled to factories to review new product development, examine all stages of the manufacturing process and solve for potential production concerns. Actively sought to enhance footwear development knowledge with regards to materials, constructions, mold drawings, and production processes.
