In My Own Words

An artist at heart, Christine Griffith has always been inspired to pursue the world of art. Her talents and passion for art evolved into many other passions that resonated in performance, coordination, and a keen eye for functionality. Getting into the outdoors she has found a just as equally passionate love for sports that require technique and skill such as rock climbing, backpacking, and surfing. Over the years, she has given much time invested in creating advanced abilities in all art mediums and design theories. Joining in the world of climbing and other nature bounding sports she became conscious of the natural world and became a compassionate individual eager to change how we see the fashion industry. Christine has developed an obsession with wanting to pursue a career in athletic sustainable fashion that would disrupt the way we think of functionality and design. Still, in love with her calling to art, she became more intrigued by other forms of design and creative outlets. Solely concentrates on drawing, painting, sculpting, and many other classical mediums, and Christine never knew that she would pursue an education in fashion design. After countless regressions from classical art mediums, she finally found her true calling; to become an athletic fashion designer. Having graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), she is now fully committed to a whole new art medium. Within finding a calling, many doors were opened upon researching top of the line high performance activewear. She discovered a new hunger in seeking out opportunities that would be neutral to nature. Within the ideology and passion, she has gained advanced skills in knowing the pinnacle of quality gear and functionality of gear to her everyday athletic tasks. Successfully gained a keen eye for style, structure, performance, and quality as well as the ultimate pursuit to creating high performances but stylish activewear, she is passionately in pursuit of becoming an activewear designer. She is dedicated to working for a company that believes in such pursuits. Christine Griffith has developed strong pursuance for being an activewear designer and being an artist- this has resonated through all aspects of her life. With goals in mind, she accomplishes anything that is set before her. Given the knowledge from her degree and personal experience as an athlete, she can perform technical garment construction, use programs in Photoshop and illustrator, and can design a whole collection. Her philosophy in designing makes her stand out above all else. As a dedicated fashion designer, she hopes one day to inspire others with her artistry, athleticism, and design theory.
