- Design apparel categories: men’s tops, bottoms, and swimwear as requested by prompt
- Work closely with the design team and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive
product line is realized and desired outcome is achieved
- Maintain the progression of design in the Design Directors absence
- Tech pack approved styles and specs for final SMS and TOP samples

Freelance Fashion Designer

- Designed Inline and SMU product - categories include: Bags (Snow and lifestyle), Headwear, Beanies, Eyewear, Watches, Tees
- Created cut and sew patterns for bags and caps.
- Reversed engineered product to obtain information to strengthen product needs.
- Researched and Developed new concepts for “go to market” needs. Products included Snow bags, juniors bags, new headwear fits, cut n sew, belts and wallets.
- Provided clear and detailed comments to Product Development team on all protos, revisions and SMS. 
- Sat in on fit meetings and commented on all, lab dip, strike-offs, trims, and seasonal tech pack handovers.
- Created detailed tech packs with little to no revisions (pending art directions).
- Created mood boards and provided trend research for assigned categories. Sat in on sketch reviews and provided input and feedback on research.
- Analyzed sales and assisted in merchandising to deliver product lines that met pre-book requirements and sales needs.
- Assisted in margin goals and negotiations to hit target cost. 
- Assisted in creating calendar to hit deadline.

Product Designer / Assistant Merchandiser

Freelance Technical Designer

- Collaborated with senior designer to handle a variety of projects – (nylon handbags, backpacks, luggage, travel accessories) initiation and follow through of tech packs, tech drawings, color CADs and other forms needed for tracking, etc.
- Sketched ideations of new styles for every season, within guidelines of brand language
- Supported the creative design process post sketch review through development handoff by executing and updating detailed tech packs and sample review forms
- Made technical design recommendations for potential production, quality and costing issues to ensure brand integrity
- Tracked prototype development; measure and perform quality control checks on all samples of development stages
- Supported spec, construction, and maintain proportion and detailing on all samples
- Communicated directly with the China office for the development process
- Entered all SKU development details in PDM (Product Data Management) system to reflect all design elements, including material, color, trim details, coding information, etc.
- Ensured each assignment is appropriately prioritized, and completed accurately and on time
- Worked within assigned strict timelines and calendars

Technical Designer

- Designed styles: luggage sets, weekenders, rolling duffels, handbags, worktotes, backpacks, coolers and beachtotes) from concept to completion
- Generated computer sketches and final drawings with correct materials, colors, graphics, and trims
- Managed communications between design function and non-design team members
- Created CAD art/graphics and generate tech packs for factories to develop initial prototypes (including establishing measurement points)
- Monitored development of pre-production samples with partnership of Production Managers and communication with overseas offices
- Conducted Market research and trend forecasts on current styles of industry
- Assisted Design Director in creating design concepts within the time frame established by seasonal calendar
- Managed all changes in department to ensure that all appropriate systems reflect current intent of each style
- Produced complete and thorough tech packs for every development designed, in a timely manner and to standard

- Organized opening activities for conversion process (Uniform Orders, Supplies, Packaging) and provide details to opening support
