I am a curator of creative concepts, utilizing unique experiences to connect people to
brands, places, and products. I specialize in marketing, business development,
sponsorships, partnerships, fundraising, brand building, and communications. My
diverse experiences have allowed me to lead in multiple sectors, working for all sizes
and types of organizations, from fortune 500 to 15 person non-profits.

Directing individual fundraising and business development, including membership, individual giving, corporate memberships, and sponsorships as well as overseeing all aspects of communications and marketing. • Improved donor relations and engagement. Reconnected disenfranchised donors through personal outreach, consistent communication, and creative virtual programming to exceed our EOY campaign goals and position the organization for a successful 25th anniversary. • Developed new sponsorship opportunities. Researched and identified missed opportunities, developed new sponsorship materials, webpages, and outreach plans to secure additional sponsorship moving forward. • Streamlined and created new membership programs. Simplified our crowded and confusing membership levels down to 3 simple options as well as created a corporate membership program to engage more local business partners. • Enhanced the MAH brand and online presence. Refined messaging and brand voice while increasing reach through earned and promoted content as part of a media partnership with an emerging digital news platform.

Responsible for directing and managing varied and multi-faceted brand marketing efforts, programs, and initiatives and working with strategic partners on the campus and in the community. • Strengthened sponsor and partner relationships. Formulated, negotiated and executed key sponsorship deals with various companies including Gatorade, Togo’s, Woodstock’s and more to support departmental needs. • Increased facility rental revenue. Worked across teams to identify new opportunities related to rentals of 25+ campus facilities including re-structuring rental agreements, securing permits and meeting compliance requirements. • Successfully launched the departments first mobile app. Led and oversaw the creation of a new mobile app by collaborating with technical product teams, executives, students and staff.

Forged relationships with Amazon, Looker, Santa Cruz Works, etc. to secure event sponsorships, promotion, and participation. • Enhanced the customer experience and brand locally. Curated personal and professional linkages, coordinated weekly professional development and networking activities that created connections through shared experiences. • Built a successful marketing and outreach plan. Leveraged and managed social media, collateral creation, and member recruitment and participation to increase sales and upgrades.
Field Marketing Specialist

Planned and executed tech, sports and culture experiential brand building events in a territory that stretched from San Francisco to Central California. Managed multiple sampling teams and college brand ambassadors in excess of 30 in multiple territories. • Developed innovative and engaging programming. Won “Best Overall Event” Global, Collegiate category, that included a trip to Brazil for the world finals. • Expanded local partnerships and brand reach. Built strong relationships with local contacts and opinion leaders to generate strategic opportunities for growing the user base by partnering with the leading companies in the Bay Area. • Increased sales and market share gap. By leveraging consumer sampling, large-scale events, sales trainings, and user insights, we were able to lead NorCal to the largest market share gap in recent history.

CSULB2003 – 2009
Regularly collaborated with on and off-campus partners, including Nike, Van’s Warped Tour and the Long Beach Marathon to create sponsorships, collaborations, fundraisers, and product placements all resulting in mutually beneficial results for the students, university and its collaborators. • Created engaging student experiences. Designed the university’s loyalty rewards program, arranged game day presentations, organized campus concerts, as well as community and media outreach. • Built the Beach Pride brand to best in class. Worked directly with student leaders and spirit programs to reach and exceed their goals while following all compliance and university standards. • Served as a mentor and advisor. Won “Employee of the Year” in 2009 for outstanding service and going above and beyond.
