As a passionate cyclist, runner, snowboarder, outdoor enthusiast, and someone who lives a healthy active lifestyle, I have been fortunate to have worked for brands that allowed me to share my passion for these things. I’m a firm believer in that nothing happens to us. Everything happens because of the choices we make, and I’m exactly where I want to be in life. Creating new experiences, relocating to new cities, developing new relationships and changing life up to keep things interesting, are things I truly enjoy.

I’m self-motivated, adaptable, driven, dependable, meticulous, highly organized, and prefer clear communication. These qualities allow me to work very well independently as well as in a team. One of the first books my sister taught me to read was, The Little Engine That Could. Just like the little engine, I am always pushing myself to be better professionally, emotionally, and physically.

Sales Manager - North America

Warehouse Operations Manager

• Represented Diamondback, Haibike, Raleigh, IZIP, and Redline bicycle brands to bicycle dealers in Northern California, Oregon Washington, Idaho, and Northern Nevada
• Provided sales and service of 5 brands, 200 models, and 800 SKUs to 70 independent bicycle dealers; added 10 new accounts, ensured prompt processing of dealer/credit applications, purchase orders, and enforced MAP policy
• Developed and built the company’s sales in NorCal and PNW, ensured world-class service, identified prospects, won new retail placement, maximized sales by completing a comprehensive dealer on-boarding and employee education process
• Successfully reengaged new and former dealers by communicating updated business model, direction, and goals that were better aligned to support independent bicycle dealers 
• Managed product allocations caused by bicycle shortage, approved all orders in territory, and distributed product based on dealer commitment and annual booking orders

Outside Territory Sales Manager - CA, OR, WA, ID

• Brand management including website design and maintenance, content development, copy writing, photography, contracts, business documents, and ensured all collateral reflected defined standards
• Developed and implemented business and marketing plan to position business as premium child care, resulting in full enrollment within 1 month of opening, and managed all back end business operations

Co-Owner

• Managed design and delivery of new exhibit, manufactured by Condit, to Outdoor Retailer trade show in 3-month time frame; managed event planning, logistics, and was the on-site activation manager

Event and Field Marketing Manager

• Worked in conjunction with the Brand Director to develop the annual brand marketing plans. Responsible for the implementation of all brand marketing activities including but not limited to: PR, Promotions, Events, Retail Programs (Catalogs, Fit Guides, training, tech manuals), strategic partnerships, photography and video assets, and community building. Briefed and guided the creative team and agencies in the development of programs and brand assets.
• Worked closely with the product category team to ensure alignment and consistency on the trade and consumer Go-to-Market activities and assets for Yakima, Whispbar and Prorack brands. Worked closely with the sales team to ensure we are providing brand-marketing assets to support their respective markets, channels and retail accounts.

Brand Manager

• Developed and then managed the global trade and consumer go-to-market activities and assets for Whispbar & Prorack. Marketing activities included: PR, Social Media, advertising and media planning, strategic partnerships, consumer promotions, community building, retail training and merchandising. 
• Collaborated with the Brand Director and VP of Brand to develop annual marketing calendar and launch two brands of vehicle roof racks in the United States
• Managed, forecasted, reconciled, and stayed within annual marketing budget
• Project managed production of consumer catalog, technical fit guide, lifestyle photography, product photography, training videos, and all marketing collateral from creative brief to deliverable asset
• Maintained relationship with public relations agency and received 40 media hits, awards, and product feature write-ups in national print and digital publications
• Managed event activations, logistics, and executed brand strategy at Outdoor Retailer, Interbike, SEMA, and Canoecopia trade shows, regional shows, dealer events, and consumer shows
• Negotiated and secured digital and print advertising contracts in the bicycle, outdoor, and automotive markets

Marketing Manager

• Identified, cold-called, and qualified new accounts, developed leads for sales agencies, in the outdoor sporting goods, bicycle and automotive industries; and traveled 80% annually in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Arizona
• Planned annual calendar and executed 200 in-person sales calls annually, used hands-on product presentations to train distributors and 400 retail associates per year in sales techniques and product knowledge
• Coordinated, executed, and negotiated contracts for 20 consumer events annually which increased sales and brand awareness with local dealers; and acted as the onsite brand ambassador and on-site activation manager
• Implemented, designed, and managed iFormBuilder data collection iPad app which improved efficiency of event, clinic, and retail reporting; and saved the company $10,000 in annual software costs
• Provided sales, service, and merchandising to national, regional, and independent dealers in the bicycle, outdoor sporting goods and automotive markets; and enforced pricing policy
• Contributed to sales growth opportunities, increased brand awareness among consumers, delivered retail training, and collaborated with the marketing manager to develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the territory
• Performed field promotional activities to sell and develop new business, as well as, worked closely with retail accounts to ensure the Yakima brand was properly positioned at retail by evaluating and making recommendations regarding merchandising, inventory and product mix.

• Managed daily operations, opened and closed store, purchased all soft and hard goods, managed inventory, tracked warranties, implemented employee work schedule and sales performance tracking
