Freelance Graphic Designer

I have had the honor of being able to directly serve athletes through Athlete Performance Solutions for many years now. In my time working for them, I have been able to design for competition, events and athletes directly. I also have the distinction of having create the Swoosh Wrestling wordmark that is widely used at all wrestling events across the world. As a prior wrestler myself, I couldn't be more proud to serve that community through design. 

• Have been executing apparel graphic design concepts, final art and production schematics for competition and event based apparel.

• Created identity branding for top tier athletes. (Emma Bruntil, Gable Steveson, Aaron Brooks)

Senior Graphic Designer

Provided leadership, planning and consultation to subordinates, executives, and peer management (Video, Editorial, Social DX along with the Design team) in the successful alignment of assigned department resources to ensure achievement of operational priorities and initiatives, integrating priorities within US Marketing strategies to ensure that department's purpose is fulfilled.

Contributed to creating and maintaining annual budget and departmental expenses alongside peer managers and Creative Director for USAM.

Managed a team of 4 core creative specialists (3 Seniors and one CS3) along with interns, part time employee and outside service providers. 

Was responsible for establishing goals and objectives, coaching and managing performance, including discipline, motivation, and annual reviews; supported continuous learning and development that enhances individual performance and organizational capability.

Provided creative and communication arts concepts and multi-faceted art across a variety of platforms to develop creative solutions and concepts for specified strategies, carrying them from conception to completion.

Manager of Creative Content & Design

• As a Senior Image Artist, responsible for individual workload and managing/overseeing broader categories/bodies of work. I work directly with the Image Artists who pick up work that falls underneath my area of responsibility and am a SME within the studio for the the technical side of the work along with communicating with the category facing side (digital creation leads, product managers, tech development, graphic development, sports marketing etc) to collaborate and find solutions.

• Have consistently coordinated and lead multiple investigative process groups focused on improving framework and process within the organization. 

• Responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures and subsequently training the functional partners. 

• Have experience overseeing the temp workers that we employ, from onboarding, training and overseeing their work execution in my area of responsibility.

• Concepted, created and authored visual centers/inspiration pages and color story decks for promo and specific inline category needs to set direction in visual story telling direction and guidelines.

• Cross function design collaboration that includes Track & Field, Global Basketball, Olympics sports marketing team, Nike SB projects, Federation Hockey, USATF retail, college sports, athlete specific, event design)..

Senior Image Artist

• Worked along side of the web programmer and created graphics to update Multnomah's website.

• Used basic HTML, JavaScript in the course of my work. 

• Created Flash Virtual Tour of Multnomah's campus.

• Updated images and maintained image creation for links/buttons while adhering to Multnomah's web requirements.

Digital Web Designer

• Assisted Sr. Designer of Cycling Retail with production art and apparel line creation.

• Designed graphics for multiple applications such as sublimated graphics, reflective graphics,                embroideries and traditional screen-print application for cycling product. 

Design Assistant/Production Artist

• Handled the Footlocker Footwear account Eastbay. 

• Worked with the sales rep and customer to manage the footwear order process through the 6 month window from initial order to delivery to the accounts door. 

• Worked with internal groups such as Demand Planning, Direct Ship delivery and Returns/Claims group to insure account management integrity.
