•	Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Comp shop regularly to stay ahead of market trends.
•	Present weekly, sometimes multiple times, to the two CEOs, ensuring clear communication of product statuses and strategies; and holding internal meetings to brainstorm and develop new product ideas all while developing and maintaining project trackers and to-do lists post-presentation, ensuring department accountability for task completion by specified deadlines.
•	Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and supply chain teams to manage all aspects of product development and improvements. Coordinate with over 10+ overseas suppliers to ensure timely production and cost-effective procurement.

•	Facilitated seamless communication between the Design Team and factory headquarters/critical manufacturing regions, such as China, India, Bangladesh, El Salvador, and Indonesia. Ensured timely delivery of lab dips, strike-offs, handlooms, and SMS samples, meeting critical buy calendar deadlines.
•	Collaborated closely with the Design and Merchandising Team to successfully execute the upcoming Junk Food Clothing and Reef accessories lines. Efficiently sourced cost-effective fabrics and techniques from overseas developers for a diverse range of 50+ SKUs. Tracked and compared costs through past cost sheets and work-in-progress (WIP) reports.
•	Supported the Merchandising Team by crafting compelling Romance Copy for the Hurley line, featured in seasonal catalogs and online publications. Contributed to on-site Hurley photoshoots, enhancing the visual representation of the brand’s products and overall image.


Branded Product Developer - Cut & Sew /Accessories

•	Developed comprehensive tech packs, line sheets, trend packets, and color cards for each seasonal collection. Facilitated the procurement of pre-production (PP) samples, approved fabric qualities, lab dips, and trims from esteemed production partners based in China.
•	Conducted meticulous market research through bi-weekly shopping excursions to identify selling merchandise trends. Collaborated closely with our Sewing Team to construct and assemble garments showcasing the upcoming line, prominently featured during Market Week presentations each month, and attended Market Week in New York (pre Covid-19) to showcase the collections.
•	Provided effective leadership and guidance to the Graphics Department, ensuring the accurate depiction of specific bodies, colors, and fabrics on all kids, fashion, and active Computer-Aided Designs (CADs).


Associate Design Merchandiser/Product Developer

•	Utilized the AS400 system to generate accurate purchase orders for international factories, aligning with the budgets provided by the Sales Department through PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
•	Maintained regular and proactive communication with overseas vendors daily to verify production accuracy and timeline adherence. Monitored the production process comprehensively, from development samples to bulk production, while fostering close collaboration with the Merchandising and Design Departments.
•	Assumed end-to-end responsibility for the Honolua Surf brand, overseeing budgeting units, meticulous inventory management, and seamless invoicing of purchase orders.
