My strengths lie in building new connections between brands and their fans, producing and implementing campaigns that speak the consumer’s language.  Every brand intent on reaching new fans needs a well connected, seasoned event professional, out there in the field or online interacting with people and creating experiences that bring the integrated marketing campaign life.  
Good marketing is nimble and ever changing, and while I am most comfortable in fast paced environments, my experience in a ubiquitous role for the last decade has allowed me to see the full breadth of what can be accomplished and what it takes to achieve the more lofty goals.  I bring management and partnership experience along with creativity and planning to build fully integrated marketing activations that drive acquisition, recognition and sell through.  I have vast experience in producing industry leading trade shows and sales meetings, ambassador team management, and promotional item development and dispersion.  


<> Lead all event strategy, planning and execution which helped KEEN achieve double digit growth each year
> Managed to grow the program from less than 50k annual event participants to well over 1m in five years
> Navigated contracts and proposals from over 300 annual events, handled all negotiations and fulfillment
> Planned, designed and produced custom campaign-specific event buildouts
> Managed all partnerships and contracts, personally attended, staffed, and executed the national event program consisting over over 20 nationally significant events and hundreds of regionally influential events
> Implemented new technologies for onsite event digital acquisition, established new systems and software for event reporting, worked cross functionally to provide analytics, consumer data and metrics to the digital sales team
> Used Signup Anywhere to drive Email acquisition of over 20k new leads annually
> Drove activations that directly impacted revenue targets - Digital acquisition, Media Placements, Bounceback offers, on site direct sales
> Represented the entire activation function of the KEEN Marketing Department with an annual budget of over $5m
> Managed nation-wide field marketing team of 12 staff at events, continually grew and evolved the program building foodholds in the South East and entering new markets nationally each year.
> Managed national trade shows with annual budget of over $2m
> Directed the overall design, appearance and function of the KEEN trade show booth at Outdoor Retailer, as dictated by the budget, current campaign or product and brand desires
> Mapped floor space, inventoried existing buildout elements and along with the booth build company (Greenspace) created the modular, transportable and scalable booth experience
> Managed 50 employees including KEEN sales and marketing teams, union labor, and Greenspace in booth construction, staffing and onsite experience
> Main conduit for all brand partnerships ranging from digital promotions of social giveaways all the way to leading key account conversations with Zappos and REI

<> Manage branded promotional items
> Developed and updated an annual offering of over 40 unique branded items, fulfilling over 1,000 yearly orders for KEEN reps, retailers, partners, events and giveaways
> Responsibly sourced and distributed over 100k individual branded promotional items each season
> Established new internal order and inventory management protocols through SAP which helped us track, manage and place orders, a huge improvement and benefit to our remote teams
> Created hundreds of unique, meaningful promotional projects for individual retail accounts, brand partnerships or event sponsorships

<> KEENFest
> Organized and managed annual two day mini street fair to align with summer Outdoor Retailer
> Developed a theme and planned aspects of the event that would help execute our mission ie. activism, awareness, thank you, celebration/anniversary non profit fundraising
> Brought in partners that align with the mission of the event and develop customized sponsorship packages for each
> Executed an event for 10-15k members of the outdoor industry - booked the venue, music, production, food, beer, security, waste management, EMT and bathrooms
> Facilitated  brand partnerships - aligned and engaged with 10+ non endemic brands for physical and digital partnerships that expanded the brands reach through event partnerships each year


Events and Sponsorship Marketing Manager

Started as an Intern, promoted to Assistant, then Coordinator, and finally Specialist.
My role started in warehouse management, physical asset management, event fulfillment then took a turn towards a more generic marketing assistant role where I supported many functions of marketing.

Upon promotion to Coordinator I began to take over more of the ambassador team management and owned the event executions, at this time I also managed all promotional item creation, inventorying, ordering and budgeting.

In moving to the Specialist role, I bundled up all of my former responsibilities, streamlined processes and then added all the event planning, fulfillment and execution for consumer events.
