Visual's Intern | 06/2016 - Current

As the Visual's Intern for Pacific Sunwear I am responsible for providing insight to the visual merchandising team while executing seasonal floorset planning. On a weekly basis I organize and maintain current trend boards to admit proper forecasting trends across several departments. I also participate in guide production and in season directives to all stores, as well as maintain visual communication to select stores to ensure proper placement, set up, and guidance as new product are allocated. I work closely with cross departmental teams on a daily basis to communicate proper visual procedures to participating stores and perform other related duties as assigned.

Clothing and Novelty Buyer Intern | 05/2014 - 09/2014

As the North Dakota State University Bookstore's Clothing and Novelty Buyer Intern I contributed in buying/vendor meetings for merchandise and novelty products. I profoundly assisted in the ordering process as a means to help create successful product lines and to maximize profits. In the absence of management I took leadership initiative to assign tasks and projects. I also strengthened my prioritization skills by analyzing departmental needs based on inventory stock levels, as well as supervised site merchandising by adding new product, imagery, and descriptions. I constructed a buying budget based on last semester figures, and priced merchandise based on planned gross margin and retail reductions. Additionally I created marketing plans and designed displays for both in store and e-Commerce. • NDSU Bookstore Sales Lead – Visual Merchandiser – Specialist prior to internship | May 2013-November 2014
