Domestic screen printing company transitioning into an import licensed apparel company. · Responsible for creating fit standards, work flow processes and overall organization of the technical department allowing for brand identity and brand consistency from initial concept and interpretation, size grading, tech packs, through fittings, sales samples and bulk production with attention to accuracy and quality standards. · Responsible for conducting fittings on live models as well as body forms for all internal fits and all new development bodies. · Daily communication between external technical teams and factories facilitating changes or corrections (via written email, verbal conference calls, technical sketching and/or pictures to convey the idea or correction) · Maintained internal and external fit records, construction details and graded specs, patterns and an extensive counter sample library. · Responsible for creating "specialty" product offerings for trade shows, customer and licensing presentations. Creating custom patterns, cutting and sewing specialty high end items to "highlight" and give that "wow" in a presentation. · Responsible for mentoring, guiding and teaching direct reports.
