Main projects:

•   Assessment of the company's customs valuation practice and implementation of a Duties and Taxes estimation
software, integrated with the platform's pricing calculation;
•   Evaluation of the impacts of Brexit on the company's operations, from an indirect tax and customs' perspective,
and preparation of a contingency plan;
•   Advisory on a supply chain's multi-country warehousing project, from an indirect tax and customs perspective;
•   Duty Drawback (United States) and Return Goods Relief (EU) assessment and implementation;
•   Assessment of the impact on e-commerce taxation, namely taxes on low value imported goods (Australia, New Zealand and Norway), as well as compliance solution design and implementation;
•   Assessment of customs classification accuracy within the company and writing of classification guidelines;
•   Preferential origin's assessment and procedure's implementation: EU-South Korea, EU-Canada, EU-Japan;
•   Country analysis regarding indirect tax and customs' framework, both from import and export perspective.

Customs and international trade advisory and planning concerning Retail & Consumer sector, import licensing, tariff
classification, practical application and optimization through Free Trade Agreements, customs valuation, export
controls, insurance management, streamlining import/export activities and supply chain optimization.

Main projects:

•   Customs advisory on the implementation of an end to end global trade management software;
•   Assessment of customs classification accuracy within the company and writing of classification guidelines;
•   Preferential origin's assessment and procedure's implementation: Pan-Euro-Med, EU's GSP (sourcing countries), EU-Turkey Customs Union;
•   Country analysis regarding indirect tax and customs' framework, both from import and export perspective;
•   Free trade zone and warehousing analysis in respect to Jebel Ali FTZ (Dubai).
