Angel Marinez

I first started making griptape designs for my local skate shop painting them by hand. That relationship ballooned into me making board graphics and t-shirts for them. And soon I started getting messages to do work for other people in the skate community. I learned how to be a freelance artist. After that I made logos for small business and stickers for an engineering firm.

I was a part of an engineering team tasks with roadway and water systems project. We had to meet deadlines and conduct meetings with the county and state. I was in charge of drawing up plans for the roadway project. As well as doing field visits and taking measurements and compiling the data into excel.

I was store manager of my local skate shop. I handled schedules and inventory. I was also a sales associate and became an artist for the shop. I made board graphics and grip tape art.
