Jenkins writes a regular creative fiction for Monster Children, under the title, Bender. The fictional (or are they?) pieces are loosely based on his life experiences. The talented Travis Millard creates the accompanying illustrations.

The Girl Skateboard Company

Started as the sole graphic designer in 1993, became Art Director, then Creative Director throughout his 23 year tenure. He is credited for building crafting the art department (the well-respected Art Dump), and was instrumental in creating the numerous brands under the Girl umbrella. Including, Chocolate Skateboards, Fourstar Clothing, crailtap.com, Royal Trucks and Ruby Ropa.
Dirt Magazine

Dirt magazine, was a creative youth-culture publication and brother to the universally-adored Sassy. Dirt was the brainchild of Spike Jonze, Andy Jenkins, and Mark Lewman. Once described as catering to “Guys too hip for highlights and too young for GQ” in a 1992 Seattle Times article, Dirt included stories on everything from the Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth, doing a proper "nature blow," and how to win a fistfight.
Grand Royal Magazine

in 1993 Mike D of the Beastie Boys, along with his band mates, Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz) and MCA (Adam Yauch), created the magazine, a glossy response to the 'zine culture that came to define part of Generation X. Grand Royal was a weighty tome filled with "a mix of music, culture and random things the Beastie Boys thought were cool, like kung fu, demolition derby, and Moog synthesizers." It was a chaotic six issue ride and after cycling through several editors, Grand Royal went to an online only format in 1997.
Jenkins art directed the premiere issue of Grand Royal in 1993.
Homeboy Magazine

Homeboy was a large format magazine... a radical lifestyle publication dedicated to skateboarding, BMX, music, fashion, art, etc. Sister magazine to Freestylin'. Homeboy was the brainchild of trio Spike Jonze, Andy Jenkins, and Mark "Lew" Lewman. Published by Wizard Publications.
Freestylin' Magazine
Managing Editor / Writer / Illustrator | 03/1984 - 02/1987
Andy Jenkins began his creative career as the managing editor of Freestyin' Magazine, a street-style freestyle-based BMX publication. He is credited for creating the editorial crew, including two teenagers who have since become creative powerhouses, Spike Jonze and Mark Lewman. Jenkins also contributed to the legendary and seminal, BMX Action, and co-created Homeboy magazine with Lewman and Jonze in 1987. Freestylin' and Homeboy Magazines have since become cult favorites and are highly collectable.
The sport of BMX was eventually accepted into the Olympic Games in 2008.
