In my role as a Product Manager, it was my responsibility to collaborate with each area of the business including the founder, designers, sales team, and factories to ensure all products meet the Krimson Klover vision and expectations. DESIGN >Researched market trends, analyzed competitors, and evaluated previous sales data to maintain the brand’s relevance in the industry >Helped plan season’s line assortment and participated in the design review process presented by various contract designers from ideation to final design >Assisted Creative Director with yarn, fabric, print, and trim sourcing from shows such as the Yarn Expo in Shanghai >Created technical sketches from designer concepts for factory tech packs and wholesale catalogs >Contributed to the creation of color stories for each season’s collection with full responsibility of all design instruction, development, and color merchandising for the first accessory collection in F18 >Re-designed current labels for future seasons to ensure the brand is meeting all regulations while maintaining quality and aesthetic standards PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT >Worked on various product types including sweater knits, cut and sew knits, woven garments, and accessories with the fall collection consisting of over 115 styles >Created new template for technical package and development process to improve design communication and spec consistency across factories >Maintained development calendar to track deadlines and ensure Krimson Klover adapts to the rapidly changing Outdoor Industry calendar (in recent years, we had to move up deadlines over six weeks) >Responsible for creating master line sheets used to organize each style within a collection including color sequence, content, catalog info, cost, SMS order, etc. >Maintained constant communication with factories managing development process from initial design through production, and aided in clarifying any design needs >Managed the flow of specs from prototypes through TOP samples to maintain brand integrity standards >Shared solutions and ideas during fit sessions with fit model, technical designer, and founder and tracked all style changes within tech packs >Traveled to international factories to review QC and manufacturing processes >Organized SMS with factories and SMS delivery to international sales reps SALES & MARKETING >Experienced a 71% increase in S18 sales and 30% increase in F18 sales >Co-designed catalog layouts and assisted with photoshoots each season >Attended multiple national trade shows (Project, SIA, & OR) and received positive feedback from buyers regarding cohesiveness of color merchandising in most recent season >Worked with Sales Director to provide the best selling experience for sales reps and buyers through constant communication and a yearly sales meeting
