Freelance Textile/Graphic Designer and Photo Editor-Swimwear

Master's of Surface Design in August of 2016
Action sports design is a passion of mine. 

-Create repeating artwork, to be placed on swimwear, using Adobe Photoshop.
-Send artwork to factories to be silkscreened or dye sublimated.
-Assist in the creation of CADs for the current season.
-Match color positions to Pantones.
-Match fabric samples to Pantones.
-Photo Retouching for websites and print.
-Create web banners, look books, posters, Instagram photos and other marketing material.
-Assist in UX Design for E-Commerce.

-Created Flat Sketches/CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
-Updated Flat Sketches using Illustrator.
-Updated Line Sheets.
-Reworked and recolored existing prints using Adobe Photoshop and NedGraphics.
-Created new prints using Photoshop.
-Placed prints onto CADs and created pitch sheets using Illustrator.
-Organized print library of 1000+ purchased prints by file on server as well as the physical library of fabric headers. 

Freelance CAD/Assistant Graphic Designer

-Create patterns by hand or by using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or NedGraphics to be placed onto various products such as dinnerware, bedding, outdoor furnishing, bath accessories, and etc.

-Create engineered designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or NedGraphics to be placed onto specific home products such as dinnerware and towels.

-Collaborate with Hard Good and Soft Good teams to create designs placed onto products based upon market research and available printing methods.

-Create digital repeating woven textures, to be digitally printed, using Photoshop and NedGraphics.

-Organize and maintain CSI color library including color library board as well as CSI standards. 

-Conduct trend research and create trend sheets, using Adobe Bridge and Microsoft PowerPoint, to be used in market research meetings.


Assistant Print and Pattern/CAD Designer

-Clean and edit repeating patterns using NedGraphics.
-Create engineered designs for garments using NedGraphics.
-Organize strike-offs.

Print Design/CAD Design Intern

-Operate acid dye, fiber reactive dye and dye sublimation printers using TexPrint software.
-Operate UV printer and HP plotter printers.
-Operate t-shirt printer and heat press.


Print Lab Intern

-Selected pattern color and scale of digital repeating patterns.
-Created product mock-ups, by digitally placing patterns onto everyday objects, using Photoshop
-Assisted Ashley with the creation of her booth for Surtex 2015.
-Attended Surtex 2015 to assist Ashley with the licensing of her patterns.
