Also managed multi-location distribution, third party drop-ship transactions, store transfers for 16 locations, and special orders for the entire company. Responsible for suggestive alternatives in situations where a customer’s web order is out of stock. This opportunity gave me a thorough understanding of the distribution chain and the back end of retail operations overall.

As retail sales associate for Shop 603 I catered to high end clients, creating a positive shopping experience. This required suggestive sales strategies, clothing fitting, and building first name basis relationships. I was also responsible for processing of new inventory daily, opening and closing operations, daily upkeep of location, and helping organize promotional events.

Responsible for opening retail locations for La Jolla Group Inc. In this process I was responsible to help hire all employees, create policies and procedures specified to the location of each store, merchandise each location and host grand opening events. As a leader I was responsible for training and pushing employees to maximize sales and continue to grow as individuals. I was also responsible for processing new shipment, merchandising new inventory, organizing spreadsheets to compare sales, and organizing promotional events to maximize sales.

This shop was extremely busy and prepared me to deal with procedures in stressful/busy situations in the workplace. As sales associates, we were also responsible to meet sales quotas daily using various sales tactics.
