Adam Spitalny

I spent my time at IDEO working with multidisciplinary teams creating new products, brands and digital experience through the lens of human-centered design.

During my time at '47 Brand I worked directly with the marketing, design and management teams to create seasonal catalogs, product campaigns, product photography and graphics for apparel collections.

America was built by the skilled hands of men and women who took pride in the things they crafted. The goods once produced in this country held a quality that made them more than just a product. The care provided in their making gave them a breath of life that could not have otherwise been present. Today it seems hard to find this "breath of life" in the products we are faced with. We believe quality is important in every aspect of life. With this outlook we build handmade tables to the best of our ability, taking care to see that each one is made to our standards. Bornhardt furniture is driven by the passion to create quality work. Our tables are handcrafted piece by piece to make a product that is not only well made but that shares a quality in which we feel life should be expressed.

I collaborated with the husband and wife ICS team to create visually stunning brand experiences. A large majority of the projects I worked on were aiding in the creating restaurant's brands in the Greater Boston area.

CNCPTS is known in the streetwear world as a collaboration juggernaut. They've done collaborations with brands such as Canada Goose, Nike, New Balance and the list goes on. I was brought on to explore what a collection of their own might look like. With inspiration from Boston's past, I worked with the CNCPTS to honor and shed light on the long-forgotten Combat Zone.
