GLOBAL HEAD OF PRODUCT LINE MANAGEMENT SPORTSTYLE FOOTWEAR | 09/2019 - Current

I moved to the PUMA HQ in Boston to establish a Global HQ presence from Sportstyle in the PUMA Boston creation center and establish a better relationship with key retailers in the US market, such as Foot Inc. As well as leading the Global Sportstyle footwear team based in Germany, in this role I also oversee the Regional Creation team for the US market for Sportstyle. The role involved regular travel back to Germany for liaising with the team in person, key milestone meetings and development trips to Asia, but due to Covid this did not happen as frequently. My main achievement in the role so far is reducing complexity by building a new footwear calendar that better aligns the US timelines with the Global timelines/milestones in regards to regional specific needs.

GLOBAL TEAMHEAD OF PRODUCT LINE MANAGEMENT SPORTSTYLE FOOTWEAR | 07/2017 - 08/2019

As Global Teamhead Product Line Management Sportstyle footwear, I lead the overall product strategy for the category and am responsible for the Global Sportstyle Footwear collection. I manage, oversee and develop a team of seven team members and two interns. Each team member has a specific line such as Mens Running and Sports Design, Mens Court, Women specific across all categories and SELECT footwear. Frequent travel to Asia for factory visits and seasonal development trip as well as traveling to key markets. Within the two years of leading the team in this role, we successfully launched two new franchises with the RS and Rider - both Sportstyle running franchises that take cues from the past and are built for the future. The total net sales grew by 18% between 2017 and 2019 for the Sportstyle Footwear category.
