My name is Abe Vizcarra, multi-discipline, poly-hyphenate Art/Design/Creative/Director based in Los Angeles by way of San Diego.
I am an adaptable, seasoned, bilingual, roll-up-the-sleeves creative professional with fifteen years of expertise spanning design, branding, and marketing, collaborating with renowned brands including Apple, Nike, Nixon and Snapchat to name a few.
My approach harmonizes strategy and concept, or what i call logic and magic. I specialize on ideating, crafting, and executing comprehensive design systems, holistic brand strategies, 360º marketing campaigns that yield tangible brand equity and real value across diverse platforms, channels, and markets. This informs my design process and practice, creating beauty and meaning applied to the context no matter the content.

Talent Show2014 – Present
Talent Show is a commercial art studio to the stars™ - we focus on partnering with rad brands and cool people to create awesome brand collaborations, artful products and live creative experiences. Recent collaborations include Nike Basketball, The North Face, James Perse Los Angeles, Coca-Cola, Dollar Shave Club, Nixon, Swenyo, Qualcomm, Lexus, GoldCoast Skateboards, Pure Cycles, Green Flash, NZXT and much more.
Senior Designer
Nixon2012 – 2014
Lead design for digital, collaborated on projects across channels. Projects varied from nixon.com to product microsites and marketing lookbooks. Focused on planning, art direction, design and managing development. Contributed to ongoing print collateral and apparel graphics over multiple seasons.

Most of my work involved interaction design for web/mobile environments. I was also heavily involved in art direction and strategy for clients big and small, from craft breweries to global corporations.

The bulk of my work here revolved around brand identity design for national accounts. Print, packaging, environmental design for: Asics, Bolle, Kyo, PF Changs, Kwikset, Pfister, Stoli, Clarisonic, Yamaha and more.

Visual Asylum2009 – 2009
This is where I cut my teeth on real projects as I got to hone my craft and develop skills in presenting work. All of my projects were client favorites, from branding to collateral, signage and websites. I also learned how to run a silkscreen print studio.
